Coca Cola Machine- Ice

Vintage Coca-Cola machines are valued by several Coke memorabilia collectors. Fortunately, a large number of machines have survived with lots of dealers who trade them, restore them and supplies parts for repairs and do-it-yourself restorations. Essentially such were ice boxes designed specifically for being stocked with bottles of Coke and ice. Glascock was one manufacturer with this early vending units. After these early vintage Coca-Cola Coke Cooler that were nothing more than a  glorified ice-box, came a refrigerated unit that did not need ice. Even though it did include some advantages over its predecessor, say for example a cleaner operation lacking the ice, it did need to be near a power outlet and will require costly fixes.                Coin operated vending machines came next in keeping use and recognition, even though some were looked at as early since the end of the nineteenth century. The days of old coin operated machines actually falls back on the 1st Century every time a coin generated vending holy water. One kind of coin operated machine enjoyed a clear glass door during which bottles were seen and, following a coin was provided, a person could go for one bottle. In case you weren’t careful, you probably will not pull properly and will lose your coin. The following structure of machine dispensed the bottles one after the other and was more unlikely  to jam or malfunction. A preferred maker of a typical early vintage Coca-Cola machine was Vendorlator in California. Throughout mid 20th Century that they had a considerable company. The Vendorlator 33 experienced strange top opening and was quite small holding only 33 bottles. Other models were bigger and better than refrigerators. Vendorlator made machines for Pepsi likewise, but rival Vendo made only Coca-Cola machines.                                                                                              Most early coin machines were nickel machines, and you also needed an expert nickel coin. Simply because they became more challenging, some could make change, to start with only through a dime, eventually for other coins and, in our contemporary world, even for dollar bills. For everyone, changing the value was pretty impossible, as Coke’s flavor has been unchanging, for a Century.

Robert Woodruff, Coca Cola’s president, recognized and implemented revolutionary methods to market Coca Cola, which included packaging and toting the product. The company pioneered the innovative six-bottle carton in the 20′s, with a handle for carrying home- making it a powerful merchandising tool.     Later in 1929, the carton became sister to the revolutionary advance, the metal Coke Cooler with open-top. Thee open-top would be covered by a distinctive fountain glass, visible evidence of the timeless popularity of Coca Cola. Today, these wonderful vintage containers are collected and enjoyed by thousands of enthusiasts across America.
