By combining four wheels and the wide wheelbase of the wagon, with the pedal configurations and steering systems from the velocipedes and adding a body, the Antique Pedal Car was born. Texaco Gas Pump
Gasoline pumps are national treasures, symbols of a bygone era of American history and car culture. The clock is ticking on them, thanks to time, rain and oxygen. We can’t help but be impressed by the passion of Antique Gas Pump collectors who go to great lengths to find or build vintage gas pumps and replacement parts. I can’t help but appreciate a new line of replica gas pumps that are adorned with great authentic details as well as some unique twists. They make for fabulous shop or game room decor. At just over three feet tall, they’re perfectly sized for an older child’s bedroom, too. Mimicking the look of full-sized pumps from the 1930s, these reproductions boast sleek, streamlined-style cabinets and classic American gasoline brands like Flying A, Texaco, Shell, Atlantic Richfield, Sinclair, and Mobil Oil. They’re solidly made with all-steel bodies and chrome accents that enhance their streamlined look. Each pump exhibits beautiful authentic details, like a cast metal pump handle, hook assembly, glass panels and even a vintage-style lead warning! In tribute to the glory days of cheap gas, cold sodas and gas station attendants who would not only pump your gas, but also check your oil, inflate your tires and wash your windshield, all in the name of good customer service. It seems these days we’ve traded customer service and conversation for credit card convenience.Worse yet- much of our service calls today, are handled by an automated message, the Human element is obsolete. I’d rather go back to the good ole’ days, 21 cent gas prices, cold cokes, Oldies Jukebox and when Women danced with Men.

Coca Cola Refrig. Machine
Firefighters in National City, Calif., attempt to free a 17-year-old teen who got his arm stuck in a vending machine while trying to steal a soda from a Coke Machine, was not so easy. He learned the hard way that crime doesn’t pay after attempting to steal a soda and getting his arm stuck in the vending machine. The teen, whose name was not released, allegedly reached inside the receiving slot of the vending machine near a trolley station, according to NBC San Diego. Then, his arm got caught inside and was stuck until a trolley rider saw him trapped and called the police. The firefighters attempted to free the alleged soda-napper using axes, crowbars and an air chisel, 10News.com reported. Eventually, the rescue crew cut the lock on the machine door with a rotary saw, freeing the teen. Medics treated the boy for scrapes and soreness to his arm caused by the numerous attempts he made to free himself. Last September, a teenage boy in Auckland, N.Z., was “extricated” from the jaws of the Coca-Cola machine after he unsuccessfully tried to steal a can of Coke. The neat thing about the Antique Coke Machines, they are simply rectangular, easy to access from the top, holding approximately 80 bottles, and don’t have a lot of mechanical gadgets to get hung up on like the vending machines of today. There is no bottle mechanism or coin mechanism to get in the way of any use, or sneakers. As with all our products, we kept this machine as original as possible, for example, it’s made in metal, the rubber seals under the lid are screwed, the cap catcher and bottle opener are exactly like the original and we even included wheels on the bottom like the original for easy movement. Its brilliant red color and contrasting white embossing make it a beautiful addition to the home, recreation room, patio or office.

Sadface Yellow Pedal Car
While we jet into the 21st century, there are still some of those enthusiasts, that want to reminisce the Good-ole-Days, the days when families grew up on farms, and sat down for a home-spun meal each evening. Some people love to reflect on the Sock-hops, and Oldies Jukebox that echoed the Rock-n-roll of the 50′s. Kids would play outside, with G.I. Joe sets, Barbie Dolls and scoot around the yard in one of the Sadface Pedal Cars. These miniture cars mirrored the actual autos of the day. Not only did they resemble the automobiles, they mimicked the careers of the day, like a Yellow Pedal Car Tow Truck. Many attractive ornaments were added to captivate a childs attention – with bells, horns, lights, hoses, and guages, giving reason for a child’s fascination with Pedal Cars. Today – Pedal Cars are on the rebound, because their charm just cannot be extinguished.

Fantasy Flyer Vintage Pedal Plane
Some of the first human-powered-planes were airplanes powered by direct human energy and the force of gravity. Humans were the only source of thrust. Early attempts at human-powered flight were unsuccessful, because of the difficulty of achieving the high power-to-weight ratio. An early human-powered aircraft was the Gerhardt cycleplane, it’s only human-powered takeoff was a short hop of 20 feet, reaching an altitude of 2 feet. In 1934, Zaschka from Germany flew about 20 meters, without an assisted takeoff. The first authentic takeoff and landing of a man-powered-aircraft was in 1961 by Piggott in Southampton University, being launched air-borne for 650 meters. Then Puffin in 1965, topped the previous record by flying over a half-mile, and climbing to approximately 16 feet. One thing is certain, it took ingenuity and innovation to make the human-powered-planes; likewise – although the Vintage Pedal Planes do not really fly, the pilot is flying in spirit; it is human-powered, as the pilot turns the wheel pivoting the rear wheel, pedal-power is the pedal planes propulsion. Sadface Towtruck Pedal Car
The Sadface Pedal Car has been around for over a half century, parallel with the Jalopy culture we live in. A culture that has for decades, rebelled against the traditional forms o f Music, Dress, and Language. Some of the traditional types of Music would have been from the Big Band era, or from the Oldies-but-goodies from the 50′s, when music was fun, the Lyrics were pure and laced with traditional goodness. Today- it’s Rap, a Jalopy music filled with cursing, perversion, and a departure from the Everlasting principles. Dress and Fashion has migrated to a degree, where much is revealed by the Cut, and skin-tight garments modeled every day; a departure from the traditional forms of Dress, that were classy and left the Revelation to a time- after the relationship was established. Language today- still has it’s moments when slang is popular or embraced by those that think it’s Cool. Today- ” I’m Down” means “I’m In”, where in contrast in the late 40′s ” A Dead Soldier” meant an ” Empty Beer Bottle”. There has always been slang in our culture, or you could call it a Jalopy Language. Jalopy- denoting a poor, worn out, used, beatin-up basis for the medium or Art being used. You might say, that the Sadface Pedal Car was and is kind of a Jalopy Pedal Car in philosophy, in that it’s the only Pedal Car with an upside-down-smile, being coined appropriately, a departure from all the other Pedal Cars on the market today- still remaining as a very charming Pedal Car, loved by children abroad, even while it touts a rebellious style.
